The All New MGS6 EV: Ready To Power-Up Electric Driving
MG Motor UK has confirmed that the all-new MGS6 EV will be available this month. Powered by a 77 kWh battery and offering drivers both rear and all-wheel drive options, the MGS6 EV is a spacious, refined and generously equipped C-SUV segment car from MG and has already secured a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. Complementing the recently introduced MG IM6 SUV, the MGS6 EV takes MG into new market segments and will continue the brand’s goal to offer customers the latest technologies.
The MGS6 EV will be available in three distinct variants, each underpinning MG’s customer-focussed approach of offering cutting edge, affordable technology to all. The MGS6 EV SE Long Range features a single motor with a total power output of 180kW and a WLTP combined range of 329 miles*. The MGS6 EV Trophy Long Range offers the same 329 miles capability, power and rear wheel drive configuration but with an even more extensive array of equipment for entertainment and comfort.
The MGS6 EV line-up is completed by the all-wheel drive MGS6 EV Trophy Dual Motor. Power output is increased to 266kW offering an enticing combination of grip and performance, delivering a 0-62mph time of just 5.1 seconds. This performance-focussed model achieves an impressive WLTP combined range of 301 miles*. All three models are capable of charging from 10 to 80 percent in 38 minutes utilising rapid public chargers. Five drive modes with five regeneration modes, including One-Pedal, mode also feature.
The all-new MGS6 EV is the third MG model to use the highly acclaimed Modular Scalable Platform - first offered on the MG4 EV - which delivers outstanding dynamic handling combined with an exceptionally spacious and comfortable cabin.
All variants feature a High Definition 10.25” Driver Display and 12.8” infotainment screen. The Trophy models also boast a Head Up Display showing key vehicle and safety information as well as navigation guidance.
Also featured in the Trophy models are heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof as well as an 11-speaker audio system. New, high quality seating options are also introduced with a choice of grey or beige leather-style seats with suede effect inserts.
MG Motor UK has also announced OTR pricing details for the MGS6 EV. The SE Long Range is available at £37,995, the Trophy Long Range is priced at £40,995 and the Trophy Dual Motor £43,995. David Allison, Head of Product and Planning for MG Motor UK, comments:
