Premier Motors Expands Offering with Peugeot at Newport Dealership
Premier Motors, part of Greenhous Group Ltd, is now officially operating as a Peugeot dealer at its Newport dealership.
The French manufacturer joins Premier Motors’ existing Ford car and commercial vehicle and MG franchises, further expanding the choice available to customers across the Island. The finishing touches are being added to a dedicated new Peugeot showroom, while work also continues on the revised Ford and MG showrooms.
As the European leader in the electric B-segment, Peugeot offers a comprehensive range of nine passenger vehicles, from the award-winning 208 supermini to the versatile eight-seat E-Traveller. The brand provides additional reassurance through its 8-year/100,000-mile PEUGEOT CARE coverage, which applies to both the vehicle and battery across its core electric passenger car range. The latest Peugeot models also offer a host of advanced technologies, including the Panoramic i-Cockpit and integrated ChatGPT® functionality.
The addition of Peugeot expands customer choice on the Isle of Wight and underlines Greenhous Group’s continued investment in Premier Motors, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the local market.

Premier Motors, known for many years as Premier Ford before the addition of the MG franchise in 2021, was acquired by Greenhous Group Ltd in 2019. In addition to being an established supplier of new and used vehicles, the Riverway site features a comprehensive aftersales operation, including a busy parts and service department, a BSI 10125-accredited accident repair centre, and a car and van hire business.
The site’s Van Centre service department is also a specialist provider of repair and maintenance services for the Isle of Wight NHS ambulance fleet.

Premier Motors has also marked the arrival of Peugeot with a new partnership with Island charity The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary. The ongoing initiative will see the dealership support the Sandown Sanctuary’s rescued animals, with Premier Motors making a donation for every qualifying new Peugeot sold.
