Servicing your MG

All new MG vehicles need to be serviced at regular intervals. Each service should occur every 15,000 miles (or 10,000 miles for 16MY MG3 with Stop/Start) or every year - whichever comes first.

As an MG dealer we are authorised to carry out service and maintenance work in conjunction with the terms of your vehicle's warranty. We will also register your car on the Digital Service Record platform, meaning that should you need to, you will be able to access the service history of your vehicle through a national database of MG dealers.

  • Trained MG Technicians: Our technicians have undertaken extensive training in our academy. They will service your vehicle to the highest standards in full compliance with the terms of your vehicle’s warranty.

  • Free VHC: complimentary Vehicle Health Check (VHC), providing a detailed assessment of your vehicle's condition and highlighting any areas that may require attention

  • Courtesy Wash and Vac: We'll return your MG looking its best with a complimentary exterior wash and interior vacuum following your service.

  • Courtesy Cars: Need to stay mobile? We can arrange a courtesy car, subject to availability, helping make your service experience as convenient as possible.

  • Collection and Delivery available: For added convenience, we offer a collection and delivery service across the Isle of Wight. Speak to our team for availability and details.

MG Warranty

All new MGs come with a comprehensive manufacturer warranty as standard, along with an extensive anti-perforation and paint warranty. All MG models registered from September 2019 come with a 7-year warranty.

MG vehicles are designed to the highest standards and then rigorously tested to ensure that nothing should go wrong. In the unlikely event that something does go wrong with your MG, you have complete peace of mind with your warranty.

Roadside Assistance

Not that anything should go wrong with your brand-new MG, but in the unlikely event that something does, we provide a one-year roadside assistance package from the AA with all new MGs.

This package will cover the vehicle for the whole of the UK (including Homestart, Roadside Assistance, Recovery and Onward Mobility cover). 

Following on from your initial year's roadside assistance, when you take your car back to Premier Motors for every subsequent scheduled service, if you choose the option, you will receive a further 12 months’ MG Assistance free.
