MG has announced a series of updates across its popular MG3, MG ZS and MG HS ranges, bringing improvements to its impressive Hybrid+ technology alongside enhanced comfort, convenience and equipment.
Already offering an attractive combination of petrol and electric power, MG's latest Hybrid+ updates are designed to make everyday driving even smoother, quieter and more refined.
A smoother MG Hybrid+ experience
At the heart of the updates is a revised version of MG's Hybrid+ powertrain.
Changes to the traction motor and generator have been introduced to improve sustained performance while reducing noise and vibration. The result is designed to be a quieter and more relaxed driving experience, whether you're navigating town traffic or heading further afield.
The Hybrid+ system continues to combine a four-cylinder petrol engine with a 1.83kWh battery and three-speed transmission, delivering a greater emphasis on electrified driving without the need to plug in and recharge.
With up to 191bhp, the system delivers plenty of performance while maintaining impressive efficiency. In the MG3 Hybrid+, for example, official combined figures stand at up to 64.2mpg, with CO₂ emissions of 100g/km.
What's new for the MG3?
The MG3 remains MG's compact and practical supermini, with both petrol and Hybrid+ powertrains available.
As part of the latest updates, the MG3 SE receives a refreshed interior with new black cloth upholstery and an updated seat design.
Step up to the MG3 Trophy and the cabin gains new black leather and suede-style upholstery, giving the range-topping model an even more premium feel.
More technology for the MG ZS
MG's popular ZS crossover also benefits from a range of useful equipment upgrades.
The MG ZS SE now features a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors and wireless smartphone charging, alongside updated black cloth interior trim.
The ZS Trophy adds further convenience and comfort with a panoramic sunroof and powered tailgate, while new black leather and suede-style upholstery gives the interior a more upmarket finish.
A new metallic green exterior colour is also available, providing another distinctive option for customers looking to personalise their ZS.
Added comfort for the MG HS
The larger MG HS SUV receives its own selection of technology and comfort upgrades.
SE models now feature heated front seats and a heated steering wheel as standard, alongside wireless smartphone charging and a 360-degree parking camera.
Choose the MG HS Trophy and you'll also benefit from cooled front seats and an opening panoramic sunroof, complemented by new black leather and suede-style upholstery.
Two additional metallic paint options, Camden Grey and Cosmic Silver, also join the HS colour palette.
