Accident Repair Centre Workshop Supervisor
Premier Motors is seeking an experienced and driven Accident Repair Centre Workshop Supervisor to lead our busy Accident Repair Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician or current supervisor looking to take the next step in their career within a professional and high-performing dealership environment.
You will play a key role in overseeing workshop operations, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring all repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and support Accident Repair Centre Technicians, METs, and Apprentices.
• Allocate workload effectively to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to BSI and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality control and vehicle care.
• Monitor labour efficiency, material usage, and workshop profitability.
• Ensure accurate job card completion and recording of chargeable materials.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop.
• Support, coach, and develop the technical team.
• Work closely with the Aftersales Manager to drive department performance.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in an accident repair or body shop supervisory role is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Experience leading and motivating a workshop team.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively.
• Strong focus on quality, efficiency, and cost control.
• Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
• Knowledge of manufacturer standards and workshop health & safety requirements.
HOURS OF WORK:
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).
